Integrated ROG heatsinks are two times larger than conventional designs, resulting in significantly lower temperatures inside ROG Strix Series PSUs. This extends component life and allows 0dB operation for longer than standard designs. The heatsinks are so efficient that fan noise remains quiet, even under full load.

Originally developed for high-end ROG graphics cards, the Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan shaft that facilitates longer blades and a diaphragm ring that increases air pressure downwards. For ROG Strix series power supplies, we’ve scaled this design down to 135mm so it keeps things cool at low rpm while producing less noise.

Quiet intelligence

The integrated controller turns off the 135mm fan when the TDP is less than 40%, allowing you to enjoy light gaming in relative silence. Above 40% TDP, the fans start automatically again.
