NOCTUA NH D15S COOLING AIR PROCESSOR COOLER To provide superior RAM and PCIe compatibility, it is an asymmetric, single-fan version of Noctua’s award-winning flagship model, the NH-D15. With its asymmetrical design, the NH-D15S eliminates the top PCIe slot on most µATX and ATX motherboards.

At the same time, the single fan setup and hollow bottom fins ensure 100% RAM compatibility with memory modules up to 65mm in height.

Users with enough space can also upgrade the cooler with either a 120mm fan or a 140mm round fan on the front fin stack for further enhanced performance in dual fan mode.

Topping off Noctua’s reliable multi-socket SecuFirm2™ mounting system, proven NT-H1 thermal compound and a full 6-year manufacturer’s warranty, the NH-D15S forms a complete, high-quality solution that combines dual-tower efficiency with excellent compatibility and flexible upgrade options.

• Highly compatible version of the NH-D15
  Compared to the award-winning NH-D15, the S version uses an asymmetrical, asymmetrical, single-fan design instead of the NF-A15’s dual fans. This allows the NH-D15S to deliver advanced heatsink performance while maintaining superior RAM and PCIe compatibility.
• Excellent compatibility with RAM
  With its hollow bottom fins, the NH-D15S provides 65mm of clearance for tall memory heatsinks, making it compatible with most high-end units on the market. Because the bottom fins are recessed on either side of the heatsink, compatibility is excellent not only on LGA115x and AMD, but also on LGA2011 where the RAM slots are located on either side of the socket.
• Asymmetric design to improve PCIe compatibility
  Since many current motherboards have the top PCIe x16 slot located near the socket, larger heatsinks tend to block it. Due to its asymmetrical design, the fin assembly on the NH-D15S is counterbalanced toward the top edge of the motherboard when installed in the standard orientation. This allows it to clear the top PCIe x16 slot found on most current µATX and ATX motherboards. *
• NF-A15 140mm fan
  Complying with Noctua’s AAO standard, and featuring cutting-edge aerodynamic design measures such as flow acceleration ducts, the NF-A15 has quickly gained a reputation as one of the best 140mm propellers on the market.
• Dual fan ready
  Using the included additional fan clips, the NH-D15S can be upgraded with either a second 140mm round frame fan with 120mm mounting holes (such as the NF-A15) for maximum performance or a common 120mm fan (such as the NF-F12) to improve performance while maintaining compatibility With RAM modules up to 45 mm in height.
• PWM support and low noise converter
  The premium NF-A15 fan with NH-D15S supports PWM automatic speed control via the motherboard. In addition, the maximum fan speed can be reduced from 1,500 to 1,200 rpm with the supplied low-noise adapter for quieter operation.
• Excellent component cooling
  Extending below the fin stacks, the NF-A15’s large fan not only contributes to the NH-D15S’ impressive CPU cooling capabilities but also delivers massive airflow over surrounding motherboard components and heatsinks, ensuring excellent component cooling performance.
• SecuFirm2™ mounting system
  Noctua’s SecuFirm2™ mounting systems have become synonymous with quality, safety and ease of use.   In compliance with the open SecuFirm™ standard, the NH-D15S can be made compatible with legacy LGA1366 and LGA775 sockets using the optional NM-I3 mounting kit, provided free of charge by Noctua. If technically feasible, Noctua will also provide upgrade kits for future sockets.
